I'm Engaged!

Friday, May 25, 2007

A sunny day, my favorite flowers, paddle boating on the lake, and a gorgeous princess cut diamond ring. Could it have been any perfect a setting for a wedding proposal?

That's how my future husband asked me to marry him, at the Canadian Tulip Festival by Dow's Lake. He's a sneaky fellow my FH. Apparently he'd been planning for months. He even asked for my parents permission. Isn't that sweet? It may be old fashioned but my parents, who still hold on to many Chinese traditions, saw it as a sign of respect.

So now I have a fiancé. After 2 weeks it still takes some getting used to. But I like the sound of it :)

So let the planning begin!
